If you think you can’t cook a juicy, restaurant-style steak at home, think again. With an air fryer, you can enjoy tender, flavorful steak in just minutes — no grill, no mess, and no stress.

Ingredients

  • 2 beef steaks (ribeye or sirloin work best)

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Salt (to taste)

  • Black pepper (to taste)

  • Garlic powder (optional)

  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

  • Butter (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the steak
    Take the steaks out of the fridge and let them rest at room temperature for about 15 minutes. This helps them cook evenly.

  2. Season generously
    Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Rub both sides with olive oil, then season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

  3. Preheat the air fryer
    Preheat your air fryer to 200°C / 400°F for 3–5 minutes.

  4. Cook the steak
    Place the steaks in the air fryer basket without overlapping.

    • Cook for 7–9 minutes for medium-rare

    • Cook for 9–11 minutes for medium
      Flip halfway through cooking.

  5. Rest and serve
    Remove the steaks and let them rest for 5 minutes. Add a small piece of butter on top and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket.

  • Always let the steak rest after cooking to keep it juicy.

  • Adjust cooking time based on steak thickness.
