Tips to avoid re-infestation

Even after this natural treatment, it is important to remain vigilant to prevent the beetles from returning.
When traveling:
- Never put your suitcases on the bed of a hotel room. It is better to place it in the bathtub or on a special stand.
- Check the bedding as soon as you arrive: mattresses, headboards and skirting boards.
At home:
- Clean your bedding regularly with a steam cleaner, especially after traveling. The heat kills the bugs and their eggs.
- Vacuum the nooks and crannies often of your bedroom and wash the sheets at high temperatures.
- Look for signs of infestation: small blood stains on sheets or lines on the skin.
Why not rely on chemical solutions?
Although some insecticides are effective, they are often full of substances that are harmful to health and the environment. Diatomaceous earth, on the other hand, is natural and safe. In addition, it offers a sustainable solution to eliminate bed bugs without polluting your interior.
What if the errors persist?
If bed bugs are still present despite several treatments, it may be advisable to call in a professional pest controller. Experts have special products to eradicate a stubborn infestation.
Sleep soundly!
Don’t let bed bugs disturb your nights! Thanks to diatomaceous earth, you will have a natural ally to say goodbye to these invaders. To ensure long-term effectiveness, combine this method with preventive measures. Have you tried this trick yet? Share your experience in the comments!
