Dairyland Casserole

Ingredients
- 12 oz egg noodles, cooked and drained
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 1/2 yellow onion, diced
- 2 (15 oz) cans tomato sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
- 8 oz sour cream
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
- In a large skillet, add butter. Once melted add onion and cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes, then add ground beef and cook until fully browned. Drain grease.
- Add both cans of tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper to the beef mixture and mix to combine.
- Spread half the cooked egg noodles in the bottom of the prepared casserole dish.
- Spoon beef mixture over noodles and gently spread to the edges, layer the remaining noodles on top.
- In a large bowl, add cream cheese and mix until smooth. Add sour cream and cottage cheese and mix until well combined.
- Spoon dairy mixture over beef and spread into an even layer, then sprinkle top with the cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, then serve warm.
