Insane, sprinkled mug cake with apples in 10 minutes

 

 Ingredients

2 ½ kg apples (e.g. Boskop)
350 g sugar
3 tbsp sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 lemon
400 g soft wheat semolina
400 g wheat flour
3 tsp baking powder
220 g cold butter
Icing sugar for sprinkling

Preparation

1 First wash the apples, quarter them, core them and grate them coarsely with a kitchen grater. Next, squeeze the lemon. Add 3 tablespoons sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice to the apples and mix. Mix semolina, flour, baking powder and sugar.

2 Then grease a deep baking tray (35 x 24 cm) and dust it with flour. Sprinkle with a third of the semolina-flour mixture so that the bottom of the tray is completely covered.

Spread half of the grated apples evenly on top, then sprinkle the second layer of semolina-flour mixture on top, then the rest of the apples and finish with a final layer of the semolina-flour mixture.

Now spread butter evenly in flakes over the cake. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 °C (top and bottom heat) for about 60 minutes until the cake is golden brown. Then let it cool down a little and sprinkle with powdered sugar if you like.
